Long has God waited for the spirit of service to take possession of the whole church so that everyone shall be working for Him according to his ability. Everywhere there is a tendency to substitute the work of organizations for individual effort. Human wisdom tends to consolidation, to centralization, to the building up of great churches and institutions. Multitudes leave to institutions and organizations the work of benevolence; they excuse themselves from contact with the world, and their hearts grow cold. They become self-absorbed and unimpressible. Love for God and man dies out of the soul. {LDE 75.2}
Christ commits to His followers an individual work--a work that cannot be done by proxy. Ministry to the sick and the poor, the giving of the gospel to the lost, is not to be left to committees or organized charities. Individual responsibility, individual effort, personal sacrifice, is the requirement of the gospel.--MH 147 (1905). {LDE 76.1}

On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. The Three Angels’ Messages of Rev. 14:6-12 are to go to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. It is a message from heaven for everyone on planet earth. It is not an American message. No, all nations are equal when it comes to the Three Angels’ Messages. All nations are involved, and every person in every nation will have to make decisions regarding the different aspects contained in these messages.

There is a great famine in all the third world countries. Not a thirst for water, or a want of bread, but a lack of Spirit of Prophecy (SOP) books, and other books that contain the Three Angels’ Messages. This added material is taken from Desire of Ages (The Sabbath) and Great Controversy (God’s Law Immutable), along with a short Bible Study on the Sabbath. These added materials link the Sabbath with Jesus, the Everlasting Gospel, and the First Angel’s Message.
